That is good combination but I think that no Enterprise survive w/o database In my opinion adding one like Oracle/DB2 is good option. Which is good option out of weblogic/websphere? Please suggest.

Really depends on the employment situation where you live. For example, where I am, most of the major employers use Websphere. But I am sure there are other areas where Weblogic is dominant.
I wrote the first two levels of the DB2 Certifications this fall and the 512 is a gift. I couldn't believe how easy it was, if you have any background with SQL it really is pretty easy. It just recently became a certification. (my tip: Pick up the DB2 Certification for Dummmies)
Keep your eyes open on the IBM site. I am from Canada and IBM seems to offer free exam vouchers every so often if you write and score above 75 on their mock exams. The 513 is a bit of a different story. Whether they are worth it...?? I dont know , I still dont have a job, but I dont have much experience. I also dont know if anyone in HR has a clue what DB2 is. Just my two cents
I was thinking a combination of Sun, Microsoft, Oracle, and IBM certification is pretty good. They are some of the major players in the software industry. Sun Java's + IBM XML + Microsoft MCSD(MCSE) + Oracle OCA(OCDBA) But of course, these are pretty general, not just for java/j2ee.
Well, Duncan, I have to disagree on 513. I didn't think it was much harder than 512. But I do agree - they're easy enough to pass without much real experience on the application.
I think that if someone asked me what I thought they should include in JCert (going on the assumption that it is the 'best' schema out there), I would remove the IDE exams from the ladder. I'd include the SCWCD exam somewhere along the line - it's multiple guess like the rest of the exams on their list.
The comment on including DB's - I think that gets into another problem altogether, and doesn't really relate to Java/J2EE certification.
I think if I could have a 'big wish' exam, it would be for a few 'elective' examinations on some of the minor APIs such as XML, JDBC, etc. Maybe some kind of requirement to take an elective or two (ala MCSE), and include the SCWCD here.
I don't think too many certifications are needed to get jobs...rather a few good ones with project experiences will be most valuable professionally. Still i have a desire to complete the remaining two java verts from sun for personal satisfaction...if i get time. From job point of view i don't need anything more...
